Changing scheme agent

When an employer chooses to change scheme agent, Mutual Solutions can offer a comprehensive consultancy package to assist the employer in the management of tail claims.

The package includes:

  • attending claims reviews with the employer and previous agent, taking minutes of the claims review and providing action items arising out of the meeting

  • ensuring action items are completed within the specified timeframes

  • receive and monitor monthly cost of claims reports from the previous agent to ensure that there are no significant increases in estimates outstanding from the previous month or adverse estimate variations that would impact on premiums

  • ensure that claims review notes are prepared for each review at least 48 hours prior to the review date to ensure that there are no surprises when employers attend the claims review

  • liaise with the employer and previous agent contacts to ensure claims are efficiently managed and closed in a timely manner to ensure minimal impact on the premium

  • provide premium projections at specified timeframes and as required by the employer to assist in management decisions and budgeting needs
